Saturday afternoon

Picture from a Facebook page Weekend is vibing. This Saturday morning is super comfortable for late waking up.  After coffee I sat down with one particular boy to do handwriting check. So we did a story copywork.  Miraculously, no excuse this time being offered to me to avoid the tedious stuff. Thank you Heaven!!!! So... The story is 14 pages long. Each page has either 3 or 4 lines. The max line is 5, which is on only few pages. What I saw:  1. Mixed-size words in single line book 2. Missing letters  3. Missing word 4. Out of line sentences 5. Distraction (needed to drink, poo, eat, help grandma, perfume, tears etc) But frustration aside, I felt happy about one thing. We utilized a cool stationery with nice colour. I believe it is known as book holder or paper holder...something like that. Maybe I value it too much but sod it. You can clip the book pages or papers to make it stand upright. That way, we can view the article or words free hand. One hand can trace the lines or words. Th

While having hot chocolate and glancing at the busy jam packed road I finished Susy Atkin's girls guide to wine. There are long list of new proper nouns I just encountered. Wink. Reading time goes by in a blink but in actual it took quite some times. The sun was almost orangey when my drink was simmering hot. At the last page, the ground was quite cool with its 730 pm temperature.

My 6 yo boy is enrolled in primary 1 last week. 20th March 2023 was the first day of his elementary schooling. It has been 2 weeks now that i am a mother to primary 1 boy for the first time. And...added to that just weeks being back from little exploration involving long hour flights, train rides, bus changes and walk-about reroute, I admit that today im still in the process of unpacking that overwhelmed/fatigue feeling. I have no tips to give about how to rest from that  if anybody asking... But today i would like to share the title of the books i have been reading from front to back, from 23rd March until today. However keen i feel about reviewing my reading here, i feel i do that when im able to set aside other times for it.  So.. First: Zoe Sophia's Scrapbook an adventure in Venice 2: Pirates of the Carribean : on stranger tides THE VISUAL GUIDE 3. The Smuggler (extra information to be updated soon) 4. Puss in Boots written by Jerry Pinkney  5. PADDINGTON AT THE TOWER by Michae

fine nine

The day was Saturday on 27 November 2021 and the weather was moderate.  Kid's activity was more outdoorsy today. He went for a ride to a barbeque with the dad and grams. Mood was off when the first choice of shirt did not suit his preference so with the help of his grandfather's styling, kid was finally satisfied with grey tshirt with tiger picture. That excited!?! On his way, we noticed his toy pencil was left at home. Guess who had his legs need a good massage the next morning after a good running and chasing at the barbaque?
